Indie Interluded

An Alternative Music Blog

Our People

Jacob Pucar

Hello my fellow indie rock fans. My name is Jacob. I’ve always believed music was the one thing in the world everyone can get behind and that the independent music scene produces some of the most passionate artists and music around. Toronto has been my home away from home for many years and I’ve been lucky enough to experience all the culture that it has to offer. I hope you all enjoy this little project we’ve started and feel free to connect with me and the rest of our team at indie interluded. Favourite song: Missed the Boat by Modest Mouse

Josie Sergi

Heyy guys, I’m Josie and I’m really excited to get this gig going. I’m a massive fan of live music (but not floor seats bc I stand 4″11), alternative rock, and a good poutine. But really I love all kinds of art, from Van Gogh to Milk and Honey, G-eazy to Mumford and Sons. It’s all love and we can’t wait to hear what you love in our inbox and dm’s. Favourite Song: Read My Mind (Killers Cover) – Leif Vollebekk

Quinn McGowan

My name is Quinn, I’m 21 years old, born and raised in the great city of Toronto. Music has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember, especially since I started playing guitar around 10 years ago. I love going to live shows and showing my support for local artists. My first ever live concert was Rush at the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre, it was certainly one to remember. Favourite song: Argentina by Tokyo Police Club

Taran McGowan

My name is Taran McGowan, born in the city of Toronto and raised in the suburbs just north. I’ve always had a great passion for all things pop culture and music is no exception. I love discovering great new bands and taking part in the intimate atmosphere of live shows. It’s there that you can really feel the music. Favourite song:  Drunk Drivers/Killer Whale by Car Seat Headrest.

Abid Syed

Abid’s passion for music began to take form in his early teens. As a child he grew up listening to the likes of Micheal Jackson, Pink Floyd and Tears for Fears. As a teenager he would expand his scope to include everything from Folk, Americana and the Delta Blues to emo, metal and melodic hardcore punk. Abid relies on the vastness of his library for inspiration and is afforded considerable critical insight as a result. Favourite song: Cat’s in the Cradle by Harry Chapin
