New Mac DeMarco Record set for May 5th

This Old Dog will be the first new music we’ve heard from DeMarco since the Another One mini-LP back in 2015. Set to be a full length album, we are excited to hear how his sound has evolved since  2014’s Salad Days.

Take a listen to the first track off the anticipated new album.

Bandcamp to Donate to ALCU

Several advocate groups, as well as the general public, are up in arms due to Trumps suspension of the refugee program and the 90 day ban on Muslims entering the United State from 7 countries deemed ‘terror hot spots’.

Bandcamp, the online artist platform and digital music retailer, revealed that in response to the ban they will donate all the proceeds they make this Friday the 3rd to the American Civil Liberty Union (ALCU).

They intend to support the tireless work that the ALCU are doing to combat this humanitarian issue. NME has the full story.

59th Annual Grammy’s Most Anticipated Performers

This year’s Grammy awards on February 12th will feature a slew of great performances from Adele and Bruno Mars to the Weeknd and Daft Punk.

However, we are most excited for the combination performance that will take place with A Tribe Called Quest, Anderson Paak and Dave Grohl. Honestly, I am not sure what to expect exactly, but I’m sure it will be exceptional.

New Music from Imagine Dragons

Imagine Dragons are set to release a new album this year. They are hoping for a late April to early May release.

Their newest single Believer is said to be one of their best yet and we agree. Take a listen.

Local Natives on Corden

Local Natives’ 2016 record Sunlit Youth is their fourth full length studio albums and was one of our favourites of the year.

They preformed live on the Late Late Show with James Corden to promote their upcoming tour. Be sure to check them out when they play the Danforth Music Hall on March 16th.
